Show and Go Car Show for Charity began in 1999 and has provided our community of car enthusiasts with twelve amazing car shows. The idea began with Riverside East Rotarian and Old Farts Racing Team Member Gary Echito. After many years of trying other fundraising activities, which were labor-some with unsatisfying results, Show and Go proved itself to be the most lucrative fundraiser for Riverside East Rotary Club since it’s inception, but furthermore for a cause of GOODWILL; To fulfill the needs of others.

A message from 2009-2010 Riverside East Rotary Club President, Timothy Williams
Since becoming president of Riverside East Rotary Club in June of this year we have been able to accomplish many worthy endeavors with the proceeds from our Show and Go Charity Car Show. We have built a food garden at the Community Settlement Association in Riverside that helps feed many hundreds of people. We have made significant contributions to education, the arts, and community organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Boy Scouts, Teen Challenge, to name just a few...!!!
Our heart felt gratitude goes out to our past SPONSORS, making it possible to raise funds to give back to our community. “Show and Go for Charity” has enabled Riverside East Rotary and the Old Farts Racing Team to donate over $200,000 to date.
With our current economy approaching Depression status, it is even MORE important that we give back to the community and help our fellow man.
